What We Are Looking For
Horth Consultingis excited to be hiring a part-time Bookkeeping Manager, with an expected time commitment of 10 – 15 hours per week, to join its team with a focus to work on one of their client's small businesses. As a Bookkeeping Manager with Horth Consulting you will be responsible for working closely with the client and helping manage their accounting and bookkeeping functions.
Your Specific Responsibilities Will Include
· Manage Account Receivable function including client billings, collections, and bank reconciliations
· Processing journal entries and ensuring financial data integrity
· Lead Accounts Payable by ensuring bills are sent out on time and processed correctly
· Support the month-end and year-end closing process to ensure books are closed in accordance with GAAP
· Provide management with Ad-hoc reports as requested
Additional Responsibilities May Include
· Assisting in tax filing requirements
· Provide necessary support regarding all financial system integrations
· Maintain and assist in setting up new users on client's financial system and providing training as required
· Assisting in payroll reconciliation and processing
· Facilitate fixed asset reporting
Requirements
· Excited to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with an enthusiasm to help their client succeed
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
· CPA/MBA a plus
· Minimum of 5 years prior bookkeeping experience
· Extreme attention to detail and taking pride to ensure the accuracy of your work
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
· Strong communication skills and business acumen
· Self-starter who takes initiative and can be considered reliable to hit time deliverable requirements
· Honesty, integrity, respect and a great attitude while working with everyone involved
