Essential Production Supervisor Duties:
- Addressing inquiries and complaints from customers
- Keeping track of employee's schedules and shifts
- Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques
- Gathering and submitting performance reports to the department manager
- Choosing employees who are eligible for promotions and bonuses
- Helping to train new employees while adhering to company policies
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
- Organizational and leadership abilities
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Problem-solving skills
- High School Diploma; Degree in a technical, engineering or relevant field will be an advantage (not required).
Work Environment:
- Work is performed within a production environment, subject to temperature variations, heavy equipment, mechanical parts, increased noise levels and dust.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 80 pounds.
- May be required to perform specific tasks that involve climbing, lifting, pushing or kneeling.
