AVALOCH FARM MUSIC INSTITUTE
Avaloch is a seasonal music residency program for classical and jazz artists that need a place to work on projects either with artists who live far away or by themselves, all in the quiet and beautiful sanctuary that is the Avaloch property in rural Boscawen, New Hampshire! We are a non-profit organization under the umbrella of The Laszlo N. Tauber Family Foundation, and all of our accommodations are 100% free to our residents.

Responsibilities
- Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
- Load and unload dishwashing machines
- Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate china)
- Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately
- Set up workstations before meal prep begins
- Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours
- Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and place orders when necessary
- Check washing machines' operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
- Remove garbage regularly
- Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor
- Organize food pantry and chemical storage area
- Learn and support basic food prep tasks

Working in the kitchen at Avaloch is a unique experience unlike any other! The kitchen provides artist residents with 3 meals a day, and caters to all allergies and dietary restrictions. Whether you're new to the culinary arts, or a seasoned veteran, there is always something new to learn, and our leadership team is eager to pass on their knowledge and expertise.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
