Reybold is currently seeking a Landscape Laborer in the Construction Department. This role is responsible to perform manuel duties that maintain Reybold properties in a clean, neat, and attractive condition.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Installing silt fencing,plant materials, and E&S Controls
- Installing and Stabilizing curlex or straw matting
- Adding stone to areas around new houses
- Fully understand the need for and demonstrate safe practices at all times.
- Evaluate existing landscaping and its conformity with maintenance standard goals.
- Care for grounds by mulching, aerating, weeding, removing thatch, and trimming and edging around flower beds, walks, and walls.
- Assist in the installation of rock gardens, ponds, drainage systems, irrigation systems, retaining walls, fences, and/or planters.
- Plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, and shrubs using gardening tools.
- Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws.
- Maintain landscaped beds conforming to standards.
- Monitor moisture requirements of contained plants, turf, trees and landscaped beds; water as necessary.
- Apply fertilizer and pesticides of certain areas
- Maintain hardscape including sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, etc.according to standards.
