Job Description –
Creates PO's and sends them to suppliers.
Follows up with several suppliers to understand the suppliers forecast for fulfilling our PO's.
Identifies delivery and sustainability shortfalls and communicates this laterally and vertically to the Operations Procurement Team in Pittsburgh, PA.
Responsible for formulating and communicating the organization's purchasing programs for services, software, component parts, equipment, and supplies.
May also direct the purchase of supplies and services for non-production departments. Has comprehensive knowledge of marketplace.
