We are an MSP (Managed Service Provider) located in Oregon looking for a 100% Remote Systems Administrator to help field technical support tickets 40 hours a week with the expectation that this would be your primary means of employment.
Examples of the type of work we need help fielding.
Example 1: Client is having an issue establishing a VNP/L2TP connection with their home server.
Example 2: Adding a new printer with designated trays to a Microsoft Server 2019 domain controller.
Example 3: Client is migrating email, calendar and contacts from Google to Microsoft 365.
Example 4: We just installed a new server on-site for a client. A new domain controller needs to internalized and users created.
When would you be working
We need someone to work the morning shift. Shift starts at 8am PST. Shifts are 8 hours long with the opportunity for overtime.
Deal Breaker Requirements
- You are expected to be actively monitoring our help desk or proactively working on internal projects between 8am and 1pm.
- Must have 2+ years of practical Microsoft Windows Active Directory experience.
- Must have 2+ years of practical networking experience. I.E Routing, DHCP, DNS, Etc.
- Must have a clean, quite and organized space to work in remotely.
- Must have a high speed internet connection. 20/5 mbps or greater.
- Must be willing to make this position your top priority.
- Must be willing to take and pass a federal background check.
- Must be willing to accept company provided virtual training for skills you are lacking in.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
