This is a hands-on Sales Representative position and perfect for someone looking to make a name for themselves in the agricultural equipment industry! This role will require an investment in time on the front-end to both learn the product line, as well as learn and understand the complex dynamics of the ever-changing agricultural industry, that we are a part of. The Sales Representative is responsible to build customer relationships that result in sales opportunities. Expected yearly earnings of $45,000 - $70,000+ with a combination of base pay and commission! The Sales Representative is responsible for meeting our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets through direct customer selling by establishing contacts, developing relationships, & recommending solutions.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire sales cycle
  • Assist in finding prospects and leads
  • Identify new sales opportunities
  • Build strong client relationships
  • Identify opportunities to up-see and cross-sell
  • Provide customer support when needed
  • Learn new product and services features and benefits
  • Provide professional after-sales support
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues to ensure customer success and satisfaction
  • Conduct market research and identify new opportunities
  • Answer customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Confer with department heads or staff to discuss topics such as contracts, selection of advertising media, or product to be advertised
  • Collaborate with the sales manager and marketing team to develop content for print media, social media, web media, and other forms of media.
  • Contribute to collaborative efforts and organize promotional events
  • Assist directly with the shipping department by packaging and sending shipments (as needed/requested).
  • Collaborates effectively with others for the success of the department; promotes a free flow of information & ideas across departments
  • Demonstrate a high degree of business acumen
  • Exhibits a positive attitude. Promotes superior customer service.
  • Follows all proper communication channels with the invoice process, with thorough communication and positive internal and external customer relations
  • Plan, present, and/or facilitate sales presentations and meetings
  • Provide presentation and product demonstration support during the introduction of new products and services to customers
  • Provide up-to-date and accurate information on sales numbers (Current, Goal, Trend, etc.)
  • Read trade journals and professional literature to stay informed on trends, innovations, and changes that affect media planning
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote products (as needed)
  • Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability
  • Regularly attending sales meetings and training sessions


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Proficient ability to interact with computer systems, including CRM platforms, internet-based applications, Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, & Outlook. Experience with content creation software (photography, videography, etc.) is a plus.

  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle status, with current driver's license, and ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
  • Previous experience in sales, advertisement, or another related field

Additional Information

Job Type:
  • Full Time
Compensation:
  • Wage is $40,000 base + Commission (upon completion of training). Expected yearly earnings would be $45,000 - $70,000 in the first year.
Hours/Work Week:
  • 44-50 hours
o Monday - Friday
o Saturday (as needed)
  • Customer Deadlines and Agriculture Seasonality may require additional availability
  • Working out of office will be necessary from time to time
o A company laptop will be supplied
