Housekeeper/Room Attendant
Attention to the details! New Century Investments is looking for a service minded and detail-oriented individual to join our Housekeeping team as a Housekeeper/Room Attendant at La Quinta Inn & Suites North. It is the Room Attendant's responsibility to pay attention to the details within the guest room, ensuring the guest have a comfortable stay.
As Housekeeper/Room Attendant you will,
- Always wear a smile, greet guests you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.
- Clean, dust, polish and vacuum to make sure guest rooms and bathrooms meet hotel standards.
- Change linens and make beds for stay overs.
- Disinfect bathrooms, leaving them fresh and sparkling.
- Restock all guest room supplies, like soap, shampoo, glasses, coffee.
- Organize your linen closet, restock your cart, and get ready for the next day, before your shift ends each day.
- Must have basic English communication skills.
- Ability to tolerate continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25-30 pounds.
- Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Able to communicate effectively with guest, team members and management in English specific to position.
- Requires regular listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
- Must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
- Communicate details of any event during your shift to departments needing to know (engineering, front desk)
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check within Company parameters.
