Zurich is currently looking for a Crop Claims Call Center Manager. This position may work out of one of the following North American offices: Virtual
Directs the aspects of management of the Care Center and has authority to make decisions ensuring proactive approach taken to appointing and steering both first and third parties into the network upon intimation of a claim, aligned with customer specific supplier requirements. Manages quality of the Customer Care Professionals and help them to further develop via directed training of all current and new staff, addresses performance issues and plans, and is responsible for all facilities operations.

Additional responsibilities will include:
- Promptly actions notification of first & third party claims taking responsibility to resolve all enquiries from both customers and external contacts utilizing the referral and escalation process where appropriate and accurately triage's notifications identifying the correct liability status
- Ensures all information collated is accurately captured within the claim reporting system to enable efficient and proactive further management of the claim and effective data management, ensuring fraud and recovery indicators are identified
- Verifies and understands of policy cover, excesses, conditions, endorsements and warranties and apply the policy wording to common types of losses (Able to refer appropriate indemnity/coverage issues to Underwriting at earliest opportunity)
- Engages and appoints supplier applying understanding of Zurich's approved supplier network and philosophy. Ensuring proactive approach taken to appointing and steering both first and third parties into the network upon intimation of a claim, aligned with customer specific supplier requirements
- Reviews, resolves and proactively finalizes rules based claims within authority limits (for standard/fast flow claims) ensuring settlement at an optimum level. Authorizes payments within authority
- Responds to customer and third party queries regarding the notification of loss, directing the call where appropriate. Refers to customer specific claims handling protocol and/or customer proposition service charter to ensure that we understand & fulfill the needs and expectations of our customers
- Motivate, coach and develop customer and claims understanding within FNOL team. Acting as an escalation point within the agreed process
- Adheres to local regulatory and governance requirements throughout the life of the claim to ensure that we make decisions using the right standards
- Production of management reporting in relation to telephony service delivery to deliver transparency against the claims performance
- Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Call Center area
OR - Associate Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Call Center area
OR - High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Call Center area
AND - Supervisory or managerial experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
