This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Recruiter to set up all of our hourly hiring practices at a new Reno Distribution Center opening in 2022, as well as assisting with our corporate hiring processes. The Recruiter will establish local resources and build community relationships to represent Foot Lockers vision in the market. The ability to coordinate and execute all hourly hiring while also testing and implementing innovative talent attraction strategies to meet our future needs is required. Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with hiring managers and workforce development to keep them informed throughout the selection process
- Locate talent, screen, hire and refer applicants in a very high-volume environment
- Accurately report on status of filling positions, identify hiring barriers and implement solutions to resolve, and escalate issues
- Responsible for meeting hiring goals to fill orientation classes
- Coordinate and attend job fairs and other community activities in order to recruit prospective applicants
- Compose employment advertisements and place ads through multiple sources, track the success and cost effectiveness
- Manage budget via supervisor, to advertise appropriately for openings
- Build local resources and relationships to create connections for sourcing candidates
- Learn and act as an Applicant Tracking System Administrator for assigned locations
- Maintain awareness and adhere with federal, state, and local legal requirements
- Plan and execute other recruiting related assignments, tasks and special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Experience with hiring in a fast paced and high volume environment is required; distribution or manufacturing is helpful
- Ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse team at varying levels in the organization
- Outstanding communication skills, with an exceptional attention to detail
- Able to set and accomplish goals and work as a member of a team
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and objectivity
- Ability to follow through with a variety of tasks and handle multiple priorities effectively
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office suite of products
