Reporting to the Director – Human Resources, this position will provide tactical professional HR support to human resource business partners, managers and employees.

Support of the HR business partners will include, but will not be limited to, assisting with hiring, handling administrative/data management tasks, facilitating talent management processes, advising on employee relations, discipline and/or performance improvement matters, and helping implement organization development activities/training.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with managers and HR business partners to create job descriptions and take them through the job evaluation process.

  • Manage the regular review and update of HR policies, practices and procedures.

  • Oversees and coordinates policies/programs such as tuition reimbursement and unemployment.

  • Enter HR transactions into our HRIS (SAP SuccessFactors) such as creating positions, transfers, promotions, and exits.

  • Conduct exit interviews with employees who voluntarily exit the organization, and follow-up with others, if necessary.

  • Participate in panel interviews in various functions across the organization.

  • Work with HR business partners to manage annual employee performance management cycles (goal planning, compensation planning, development planning, mid-year and year-end performance evaluations, etc.)

  • Support the HR team by creating and running routine employee related reports.

  • Serve as part of the centralized team and an Employee Central (EC) functional resource for SAP SuccessFactors

  • Manage our broad-based HR Toolkit (SharePoint based) that houses documentation on policies, processes, and procedures for the broad HR team (HR, compensation, benefits, training, development, recruiting, etc.). Make sure information is up to date and manage appropriate access to the system.

  • Employ Lean and continuous improvement concepts to recommend and implement enhancements to HR systems and processes, eliminating waste and adding value. Develop standard work. Utilize HR data & metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Work across various HR functions, such as compensation, benefits, recruiting, learning and talent management on special projects as needed (some annual projects and some one-time projects).

Qualifications:

Minimum:  Associate's Degree with 2 years of experience OR Bachelor's Degree with some experience working with processes and systems including project management with the ability to quickly learn and take ownership of work.

Preferred:  Associate's Degree with 4 years of experience, Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience OR Master's degree with some experience working with processes and systems including project management with the ability to quickly learn and take ownership of work.

Relocation will not be offered for this position.
