The Patient Engagement Specialist is responsible for initiating and developing relationships with patients referred to Flow Therapy. Provides formal and informal education to current and potential referral sources. Performs pre-admission assessments to determine patients' candidacy for admissions and assists to facilitate admission into the Flow Therapy EECP Program. Achieves quantifiable objectives set by Flow Therapy leadership.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Provide education to patients on EECP treatment and the therapy provided
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems; Advanced MD and Leading Reach a plus
- Experience with intake and/or sales, as you will respond to inbound calls/making outbound call
- Highly productive and energized candidates who are quick learners and comfortable in a fast-paced, continually changing, and results-oriented environment
- Ability to collaborate with different departments to coordinate client appointments and documentation needs to allow for quick patient treatment
- Drive to anticipate future intake and admissions process milestones and proactively mitigate issues that could delay onboarding new clients
- Individuals with the highest integrity in all interactions internally and externally
- Data Entry: Input new patients into the system with great attention to detail to ensure all the required information is inputted and correct
- Scheduling: answering a high volume of calls, scheduling the patient with the correct provider. Assisting the patients with scheduling issues and maintaining a full schedule

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of insurance guidelines governing insurance eligibility and authorizations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Ability to problem solve effectively.
- Ability to collaborate with peers in a fast-paced, small team environment.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent, required.
- 2 years of communications experience
Work Environment:
This job operates in a remote/work from home environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
Physical Demands:
This is a sedentary role and requires sitting at a computer for 8 hours a day.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
