HospiceCare , a non-profit organization that provides end of life care to patients in 16 counties across Central West Virginia, is seeking a detail oriented Human Resources Associate to join its Charleston, WV office location.
The HR Associate will join a dynamic and innovative HR team. The successful candidate will be responsible for filing and auditing personnel and payroll files, processing employee applications, completing reference checks, processing paperwork for new employees, maintaining FMLA database , tracking performance appraisal forms and assisting with the Payroll process. This position will also assist in office duties in an established volunteer department.
Position Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources/Industrial Relations, HealthCare Administration or related field. Must have 1-2 years of HR experience and knowledge of employment law. The candidate must be a self-starter who takes initiative, have strong attention to details, highly organized, be able to meet strict deadlines and represent HospiceCare in a highly professional manner.
