Fulton Yards Coffeehouse and Spirits in Cincinnati, OH is looking for a Barista to join our crew. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and hard-working.
The Barista is a key member of the crew, serving as the first-stop for customer hospitality and last check for quality control. We have morning, daytime and evening shifts available 7 days a week to meet the needs of our guests and are looking for a full-time, hourly (plus tips) Barista to help Fulton Yards run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Interact regularly with customers ensuring a positive experience
- Coordinate and facilitate staff member's tasks to ensure timely execution
- Train and develop new team members to company standard
- Accurately process and reconcile shift payment transactions
- Motivate staff while working towards one goal
- Prepare custom espresso, coffee, tea and blended fruit drinks to recipe and customer specifications
- Prepare in-store and to-go orders with proper plating, packaging and bagging
- Answer questions to help educate guests about the menu, sourcing process and roasting process
- Complete transactions using Clover POS and follow all cash handling policies
- Set up and manage back of house operation
- Perform all opening and closing duties as scheduled
- Take part in inventory management, light kitchen prep and cleaning as needed
Qualifications
- Outgoing and engaging personality
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Able to resolve conflicts quickly and efficiently
- Experience in a leadership role is a definite plus
- Ability to work varied schedule including mornings/night, weekends and some holidays

Pay: $9.50 - $12.00 per hour
