Notes to Applicants This position will support the Office of Civil Rights, a newly formed civil rights enforcement Department with the City of Austin.
The incumbent will be responsible for performing administrative tasks critical and essential to maintaining an office and growing team. Tasks may range from greeting and directing visitors; answering multi-line telephones; maintaining office supply inventories; scheduling and coordinating meetings; distributing mail; drafting correspondence and reports; filing and retrieving documents, records and reports; maintaining records; data entry; analyzing and interpreting data and preparing reports; timekeeping.

- Secretarial certification (Certified Professional Secretary or Certified Administrative Professional).
- Demonstrated experience in administrative work in a small to medium-sized office.
