Part-Time, Evening Contact Center Representative – Work from Home – Raleigh, NC (REQUIRED: must live within NC)
AKC Reunite is seeking Recovery Coordinators (Customer Service Representatives) to join our team. While helping customers for the nation's largest non-profit pet microchip and recovery service, you will enjoy the benefit of working remotely from your home. We are looking for people who enjoy problem-solving, while providing our customers with an amazing experience. AKC Reunite is a 24/7/365 call center, we are available for pets and their owners every day/every night.
We offer a paid training class which will be provided remotely. The initial training class will be for 3 to 3 ½ weeks. We'll provide you with office equipment. Be assured, you will have plenty of resources and support, which includes coaching and additional training.
- Positions available are Part Time, evenings working 20-26 hours per week
After training, the new employee will begin their weekly schedule. Each schedule includes alternating weekend coverage, working every other Saturday AND Sunday plus additional scheduled days. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Representatives assist customers with general questions which deal primarily with pet enrollment, lost/found pet reports, collar tag and collar orders, additional services available, and by imparting information about AKC Reunite policies and online resources.
- Representatives assist customers by evaluating, researching, and resolving their concerns. Representatives must be able to make problem-solving decisions independently. Representatives will process enrollments, orders, properly and accurately make notations within AKC Reunite systems as the need arises.
- Representatives provide customers with information about AKC Reunite and microchipping their pets as the best way to help ensure a lost pet will find their way home
- Representatives provide empathy and guidance to customers calling in to report a pet lost or found.
Qualifications:
- Must live within NC (will be required to come to Raleigh, NC office to complete HR paperwork and pick up/return company issued materials/equipment)
- Must have a direct wired connection to their modem or router, with 10MBps download speeds and nearly 1 MBps upload speeds available within 6 feet of the home office set up. Your computer or router should be physically connected to the modem by a cable. No wireless connection.
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must have pleasant and articulate telephone voice/manner; a responsible and professional attitude; and be able to function under pressure and maintain composure. The ability to learn and retain extensive information about the AKC Reunite system and practices is essential. Schedules will vary and everyone will be required to work alternating weekends.
Experience
Required- 2 year(s): Previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment
Education
Required- High School or better
