We are looking for a data solutions strategist to lead the effort to create and grow a data services division within Momentum3 with the goal of assisting clients in bringing their data vision to life.
Hands-on experience helping clients understand their data needs, designing solutions, and delivering results is required. To include building, optimizing, and maintaining data models, defining and creating dimensional models, understanding MDM solutions, and deep knowledge of Azure is necessary. Additionally, an understanding of how to analyze system requirements and implement migration methods for existing data.
Responsibilities
- Set direction for the data services organization
- Support marketing efforts by providing content and services definitions for the organization
- Provide technical support on sales efforts
- Provide technical leadership for customers to support successful understanding, evaluation, and adoption of data solutions. Including standard data models, dimensional models, MDM, and reporting techniques
- Consult on architecture and design, bootstrap, and/or implement strategic customer projects
- Build reference architectures, "how-to's", and proof of concept applications for customers
- Improve system performance (tuning)
- Optimize new and current database systems
- Define security and backup procedures
Skills
- Leadership experience working in a team environment
- Ability to create and manage highly effective teams
- Proven work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst or similar role
- Solid understanding of ETL, SSIS
- Ability to design and architect distributed data systems
- In-depth understanding of database structure principles
- Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements
- Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques
- Leading data transformation projects and teams is a big plus
- Familiarity with data visualization tools
