What You'll Get to Do:
You will provide general business support to the NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) Management Office Director and Deputy director at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). JPL is a federally funded research and development center tasked to meet specific long-term technical needs that cannot be met by any other single organization within NASA .
More About the Role:
As an Administrative Assistant you will:
- Generate presentations, charts, graphs, correspondence, spreadsheets and other similar documents relating to the Director's Office functions and activities;
- Schedule and process office moves (phones, computers, office locations, floor plans, moving supplies and service requests) for the JPL programs and offices;
- Schedule and process JPL facility orders;
- Travel Orders and Arrangements in CGE (domestic, foreign and sponsored) and subsequent expense reports will be processed and tracked through the approval systems while being compliant with the Federal Travel Regulations and NASA Travel policies;
- Internal/external liaison POC between Director's office, general staff, external HQ offices, JPL offices, and public sector;
- Facilitate the life cycle form potential new hire processing including fully on-boarding into JPL programs/systems to off-boarding processing; and
- Conference scheduling, coordination, submission into NRS VITS, resolution for calendar conflicts and room set up for various meetings.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
- Highschool diploma;
- Two (2) to four (4) years experience;
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools .
