Responsibilities:
  • Organize and maintain employee files and documentation related to benefit programs.
  • Own the complete onboarding process for all new hires (verify paperwork is completed, assist in benefit enrollment, conduct orientation, etc.)
  • Manage the day-to-day data entry of all transfers, promotions, salary changes into the HRIS/payroll system
  • Manage curriculum completion in our Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Troubleshoot issues with eLearning courses
  • Serves as initial point of contact for employee questions/concerns about HR topics such as benefits, company policies, time off, etc.
  • Analyze and reconcile benefits statements
  • Benefits election approvals completed within the HRIS (ADP)
  • Updates weekly 401k changes
  • Coordinate FMLA, LOA, Worker's Comp and COBRA processing
  • Liaise with HRIS Analyst and Accounting to ensure monthly enrollment reconciliation, billing accuracy and timely payments
  • Coordinate and provide administrative support to HR team and assist with other projects as may be required from time to time
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Internship or other relevant work in HR
  • Highly motivated, energetic individual with the ability to be self-directed
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both internally (teammates) and with external contacts (carriers, vendors, clients, etc.)
  • Possess the ability to work with a high degree of confidentiality
  • Excellent communication skills and able to represent a professional team
  • Adaptable to fast-paced and quickly changing environment and work priorities
  • Experience in larger matrixed work environments is considered an asset
  • Experience using ADP is considered an asset
