- Implement development, maintenance, and quality assurance initiatives involving Principal proprietary legal plan document user interface system. This position requires a good understanding of business operations/processes and legislative, regulatory, and in-house company policy requirements.
- Support the environment to develop and produce accurate and timely documents in accordance with applicable laws and regulations to meet client and business partner expectations and in-line with administrative processes and procedures.
- Prepare, provide, and maintain communication regarding the retirement documents. Serve as a resource by providing accurate and timely responses to document-related issues. This may involve responding to regulator inquiries and developing/working through complex document provisions and design.
- Develop and maintain relationships with contacts and business partners and provide technical educational assistance to business unit employees, as needed.
- Identify, interpret, and communicate complex legislative, regulatory and compliance issues that affect retirement documents. Provide analysis and guidance of retirement document interpretation issues and retirement document design questions. Develop document solutions to meet internal and external client needs.
- Lead or participate in special projects critical to the growth of the business unit and the company. Perform other job-related duties or special projects.
- May be responsible for mentoring and training new hires.
- Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus 6-8 years related business experience
- Must have expert and broad legal and technical knowledge of retirement laws and regulations, retirement document provisions, and company products and services
- Must have high level of creativity and resourcefulness
- Requires excellent analytical and problem solving, verbal, and written communication, and presentation skills
